Black Olive™ is a mica based effect pigment. This revolutionary product actually extends the range of mica's absorption color, which basically only includes green, light gold and maroon, to the range of brown-black shades.
The special brown-black color of Black Olive™ can bring many options for use, for example, it can be used for color neutralization. Adding Black Olive™ to metallic or silver-based items will produce a bright surface and also make the product have a dark metallic appearance.
Black Olive™ outdoor grade products use BASF's proprietary CFS – chromium-free surface treatment technology for improved moisture resistance.
