Anox 1315 antioxidant is a highly effective, very low emission, liquid hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is a potent antioxidant for any type of polymer, providing very good protection against thermal and oxygen degradation.

According to American CFR Title 21, the regulation of stabilizers in food contact applications is as follows:
- Sec. 178.2010, antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers. All polymers intended to come into contact with water-based, low-alcohol, acidic or dry food, up to 1% by weight. All recycled polymers (except low density and linear low density polyethylene) in contact with fatty food in a content not exceeding 0.2% by weight.
- Sec. 175.105, adhesive
- Sec. 175.300, resinous and polymeric coatings
- Sec. 177.1210, closures with sealing gaskets for food containers
- Sec. 177.2600, rubber articles intended for repeated use must follow the specific restrictions and specifications in 21 CFR 178.2010
