Lowinox 1790 antioxidant is a high-performance triphenolic sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant, and the central part is cyanuric acid. Suitable for use with polyurethane, polypropylene, polyester and polyamide fibers, typically providing excellent fade resistance at low add-on levels.
Excellent thermal stability, in synergy with secondary antioxidants, provides excellent processing stability at 50-75% addition levels of traditional primary phenolic antioxidants.
Stabilizers may be used in food contact applications subject to the following regulations:
• 21 CFR 178.2010 Antioxidants in polyolefins
• 21 CFR 177.1640 Antioxidants in polystyrene and rubber-modified polystyrene
