Eastman Optifilm™ enhancer 300 (OE 300)

In architectural coatings, OE300 is a high-performance, low-odor, and low-toxicity film-forming additive used in latex paints. OE300 boasts extensive compatibility and excellent hydrolytic stability, allowing its utilization in a wide range of latex-based paints. It finds application in various architectural contexts, particularly suitable for low-odor matte and low sheen wall paints. Conversely, in industrial baking coatings, OE300 serves as an excellent slow-evaporating solvent.
OE300 has a boiling point of 281°C (vapor pressure of 0.0007 kPa @ 20°C). According to the EU Directive 2004/42/EC on decorative paints, the EU Solvent Emissions Directive, and the China National Environmental Protection Agency, it does not qualify as a VOC (Volatile Organic Compound).
