Microlith® products are transparent pigments made with different carrier resins. These pigments have a small particle size, with some products having particles smaller than 0.2 micrometers. They offer excellent color development, good rheological properties, anti-flocculation, and anti-settling characteristics.
Microlith® A Series Pigment Dispersions
These pigments are based on ethyl cellulose as the carrier resin and can be used in solvent-based industrial coatings and wood coatings. Some products in this series are also suitable for solvent-based gravure, flexographic, and screen printing packaging materials. Alcohol-based solvents are typically added for quick dispersion. This series is relatively easy to dissolve and is best suited for use in NC (nitrocellulose) systems.

Microlith® K Series Pigment Dispersions
These pigments are based on chlorinated resin carriers, limiting their use to ethylene-based systems, acrylic systems, and aromatic polyurethane systems. Due to their halogen content, their use in the 3C industry is also restricted. All products in this series can be used in solvent-based industrial coatings, wood coatings, solvent-based gravure, and screen printing. Since the particles in this series are extremely small, some products can be used in solvent-based inkjet and UV inkjet applications.

Microlith® T Series Pigment Dispersions
Microlith® T series pigments are formulated with modified rosin-based resin carriers, offering broad compatibility. They are well-suited for use in solvent-based industrial paints and wood coatings, and some products can be used in printing inks. This series is relatively easy to dissolve and can be used with benzene and ester-based solvents.

Microlith® WA Series Pigment Dispersions
These pigments are based on alkaline water/alcohol-soluble acrylic resin carriers. The WA series is suitable for all water-based paint systems (except automotive paints), printing ink systems, and can also be used on aluminum foil. Most products in this series can also be used in PVC inks and packaging inks. They have extremely small particle sizes with narrow distribution, high gloss, good transparency, excellent color development, anti-flocculation, and anti-settling properties. These products are odorless and do not cause wear and tear on printing equipment.
